Description

Description:  Grows to be 60' to 80' high by 45' wide of a spread. This tree is a zone 5-9, so can do fairly well in Wisconsin, unless temperatures drop well below in the negatives which would cause bud loss and damage/dieback.

Winter Characteristics: A pyramidal shape that will round with age. The branches are deeply furrowed giving it an interesting texture for winter interest.

Spring Characteristics: The spring buds come out later than others, waiting for the temperature to rise enough to comfortably bud and leave out.
