WCTS OER Symposium

Open Educational Resources in Wisconsin: Inspiration to Action

This Symposium is a space for inclusive and open sharing and conversation, and creating meaningful collaborations to advance OER work. All are welcome to attend and contribute. For questions regarding the Symposium, please email Vince Mussehl (vmussehl@cvtc.edu).

Be sure to sign up to see what wonderful progress Wisconsin is making in the global OER initiatives. There is still time to submit, if there is MATC OER work you would like to highlight in a presentation (deadline this Friday, Sept. 24)

OEGlobal Online Conference 2021

OEGlobal 2021 online conference        September 27 - October 1

The annual Open Education Global conference is trying something new over 2021 and 2022 by focusing two elements of the entire conference on the UNESCO OER Recommendation. The Open Education Global conference will take place online over five days from Monday September 27th to Friday October 1st, and in-person in May 2022 Each day will focus on a different UNESCO OER Recommendation - Capacity Building, Policy, Access, Sustainability, and International Cooperation.

While our 25 MATC scholarships for the OE Global Conference have already been awarded, this important virtual conference only costs $25 to attend ($5 a day) even though attending would cost much more in non-virtual years. We encourage you to join us at the OE Global Conference online.
