These resources will not only allow you to search for quality open educational resources, but they are also capable of storing your own open courses to share with other educators. These resources are all free to use with, or without, a registered account. Oasis, M.O.S.T., OER Ready-to-Adopt Courses, and Mason's OER Metafinder are the quickest and easiest ways to find resources for your courses.
AER (Affordable Educational Resources) are no or low cost tools, or tools purchased for institutional use, which are accessible to all students and employees without additional per-use costs involved. Most are housed in the library's collection of materials. These include but are not limited to articles in research databases, digital magazines, supplemental electronic study tools with interactive components, streaming videos, unlimited use digital textbooks, and the creation of course packets using copyrighted materials covered through the Copyright Clearinghouse licensing MATC has acquired. It is advised to consult a librarian for guidance on creating course packets and obtaining AER materials through the library for use in a course.
These resources provide access to open textbooks; they also provide access to many other learning materials.
