ZERD 209 - Exploring OER - 1 credit This course will introduce the participants to open education resources (OER), explore the OER tools and provide roadmap to adapt existing courses to OER platform. The course will provide a thorough examination of open pedagogical practices in making education affordable, innovative and student centered for lifelong learning. The course will enhance the knowledge of participants including but not limited to the open resources available in the area of interest, copyright and creative commons, steps to adapt courses to OER, peer collaboration and Wisconsin Technical College System resources to support OER innovations.
CCCOER Fall webinar series This series is free and open to the open education community and we encourage you to invite your colleagues to attend or better yet watch together and continue the discussion afterward.
National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) The National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa was among the first three Language Resource Centers established by the U.S. Department of Education. Over the past 27 years, the Hawai‘i NFLRC has distinguished itself as a venue for local, national, and international conferences. NFLRC collaborates both locally and nationally on a number of initiatives, for example, developing models of distributed learning which combine distance and face-to-face instruction. Throughout the year, NFLRC hosts and co-hosts local and national conferences and workshops, often with a focus on technology.
Open Education Conference 2020 Recordings The Open Education Conference (“OpenEd”) is an annual convening for sharing and learning about open educational resources, open pedagogy, and open education. This dynamic gathering celebrates the core values of open education that strive to realize education ecosystems that are accessible, affordable, equitable and inclusive to everyone, regardless of their background. These recordings were from 2020 held virtually November 9-13, 2020.

OE Global 2023 Conference: Call For Proposals Open!

Open Education Global and NorQuest College, hosts of the Open Education Global (OE Global) 2023 Conference, invite proposals for conference sessions.

The conference will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Amiskwaciwâskahikan), from 16-18 October 2023 under the theme Building a Sustainable World Through Open Education.

OE LATAM wants to hear from you!

OE LATAM has launched a series of surveys to gather information on the open education initiatives that are being developed in the region and to learn more about the open educators who are activating them.

The purpose of the survey series is to know about, highlight and celebrate the efforts of the open education OELATAM community to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer that ensures open, accessible, and quality education. There are two surveys to choose from (or take them both!).

The results of this research will be integrated into a report on the OE Global State of Open Education in Latin America. Help us to map the region!
