Download audiobook on device
First, find an audiobook you would like to listen to. You can either Browse the Downloadable Audiobook Collection...
...or find an audiobook in the search results, when you do a search in One Search. The icons will indicate whether it is an audiobook. You can hear a sample by clicking on the button, or on the title to get more information such as book reviews, etc.
Then click on "Borrow"
and "Sign In / Create Account"
If it is checked out already to someone else, you can click the "Place Hold" button. When it becomes available, you will get an email, and the audiobook will appear in the Checkouts area of your My EBSCOhost Folder.
Download the EBSCO audiobook app from the iTunes or Google Play stores and install it on your device.
Once you have downloaded the app, open it up on your device, tap the login button
and sign in with Google by entering your MATC Gmail address (example: username@gmatc.matc.edu) and password (same as Blackboard).
Your borrowed books appear on the All books tab in the app.
Tap on a book to access the details screen.
First make sure you have access to Wi-Fi. Then click on the "Download" button (looks like a cloud).
You will want to do this so that you can listen to the book anywhere, even when you don't have a Wi-Fi connection. The cloud icon will change to a checkmark if you were successful.
The book will also appear in the Downloaded books tab (next to All books tab).
Note that there are buttons to play/pause, and to view the chapters. You can click on a chapter to go to it.
Click on the Gear icon to logout.
