Supplemental Equipment is equipment which can benefit students in a number of programs. This equipment may be something which is utilized to better understand concepts, prototype items, or complete coursework more efficiently. Due to the number of programs which may benefit, and that it is usually not a specific course requirement, this equipment does not require a student to be enrolled in a specific program in order to check the equipment out.
Supplemental Equipment is located at the Oak Creek Campus Library. Some equipment may be able to be transferred to another location for pick-up; contact the Oak Creek Library if you are interested in arranging for pick-up at another location.

Using the Crafty Pen you can get a sense for what it’s like to create an object in 3D space by making shapes and letters flat on the surface, or building a model in vertical layers, exactly like a 3D printer would. When the plastic is dry, just pop your model off the table and you’ve got a physical thing!
When you check out the pen, you will be provided with a sealed packet of PLA plastic filament. You are also welcome to use your own PLA filament in these pens.
