The fact that the World Wide Web is free and accessible does not make it the best place to find high-quality information. Library resources such as books and journals have been evaluated by publishers, subject experts, and librarians; however, most information on the Web does not go through an editorial process and can be posted by anyone. It is essential to develop skills to evaluate what you find.
