You must be logged into, and use your MATC Email (username@matc.edu) to view and submit the application.

Important to Know

  • Your Stormer Pass/MATC ID is required for checkout.

  • Your MATC email (username@matc.edu) will receive all notifications regarding your technology application. Application processing can take up to one week. Sign up for Text Message Alerts, and get notifications on your mobile phone. 

  • Checkout is for the length of your semester classes. Return devices inside any MATC Library, by the due date. Avoid overdue fines.

  • Devices are deactivated for maintenance at the end of each semester. They cannot be renewed. Apply each semester as needed.

  • The Library Equipment Agreement Form must be completed, and is the legal agreement stating you are responsible for equipment you check out..  Even if it is lost or stolen, you are still responsible for it, and replacement costs will be charged for lost or stolen equipment. Repair costs may be charged for damaged equipment.

Program Purpose

The Technology Assistance Program (TAP) is designed to assist students who do not have sufficient at-home technology to complete MATC coursework.  Chromebooks, hotspots, all-in-one units (Chromebook/hotspot combination device), and other specialty equipment are available for checkout. This program bridges the technology gap, providing students with necessary tools for college success.
