See Chromebook FAQ and Hotspot FAQ for more information.
MATC Libraries’ limited supply of Chromebooks and Hotspots available for checkout has changed from 'first come, first served' to an application process. Equipment is limited to the available stock and will be issued to qualified applicants.
You must fill out the application to be considered; equipment is not guaranteed. If approved, you will be notified in your MATC email. You must pick up the device by the specified date in the email, otherwise the equipment will be assigned to another student and you will be placed back on the waitlist. You can also sign up for Text Message Alerts and get notifications on your mobile phone as well. The approval process can take up to 5 business days or longer during peak periods.
Step 1: Fill out the Application for Technology Assistance after it reopens.
Step 2: Fill out the Library Equipment Agreement Form prior to pick up.
Step 3: You can also sign up for Text Message Alerts, and get notification on your mobile phone.
