Wes Moore is a youth advocate, Army combat veteran, social entrepreneur, and host of Beyond Belief of the Oprah Winfrey Network. His first book The Other Wes Moore became an instant New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller.
He is the founder and chairman of BridgEdU. According to their website: "Wes founded BridgeEdU with the purpose of building a better on-ramp to higher education and career preparedness. He believes in supporting populations of students who need additional encouragement throughout their first two years of college, which are arguably the most difficult to complete."
In 2017, Mr. Moore became the CEO of Robin Hood, an anti-poverty organization whose "mission is to improve the living standards for 1.8 million low-income New Yorkers."
