Mathematics: Basic Math

If you stop at general math, you're only going to make general math money.

Math Games - Available at Oak Creek Makerspace

Three Sticks

The game consists of sticks of three different lengths - 3, 4 and 5 units long. Using these to try and create geometric shapes.

Prime Climb

Learn to multiply and divide using prime climb's unique color coding. Inspire deeper mathematical understanding while mastering arithmetic!

Equate

Equate looks a bit like Scrabble--for aspiring mathematicians, that is. Designed by a real mathematician, it works like this: You put down tiles on a board and make points by correctly completing simple equations. Your nine tiles include both numbers and mathematical symbols; you can add on to previous plays both vertically and horizontally. Learn simple stuff (like what division is) and more sophisticated ideas (like the order of precedence among arithmetic operations). It all adds up.

Three Sticks Expansion

Expansion for original Three Sticks game.

Krypto

Basic arithmetic game.

Fraction Formula

It’s a race to “1” with this 4-player fraction game. Draw a card and find the corresponding fizzy fraction tile. Drop the tile into your cylinder. “Hold” if you think you're as close to one as you'll get without going over or draw another card if you think you can get closer by adding another fraction tile.

Smath

Players use the tiles in their racks, and the ones already on the board, to build their own crossword-style math equations. Game play can be customized.

Math Fluxx

Math Fluxx really is all about the numbers. Players use positive integers (whole numbers) in their quest to achieve a very mathematical Goal.
