Game Based Learning

What is Game-Based Learning?

Game-Based Learning is a technique that utilizes games as part of the learning process.  There are many games in the Catherine Lechmaier Makerspace at the Oak Creek Campus Library that can be used in the library or checked out for on-campus use by students and instructors.  ESL game nights are also held as a way for students learning the English language to have interactions with native English speakers in a casual learning environment.

Students may check out games for same-day use in the library or on campus.  Staff and faculty may check out games for overnight use.

All games must be returned back to the Oak Creek Campus Library.

Games that are not brought back on time will be subject to the following overdue fees:

Overdue: .20/hour, $3/day with a $6 maximum fine.

Lost: $25.00 minimum replacement cost ($15 default cost minimum or cost of the game, whichever is greater + $10 processing fee)
