See the Library Updates guide for information such as, but not limited to: where to return items, how to reserve a seat, and how to sign up for text message notifications.

The MATC Libraries are open, but to ensure that we can keep a clean and safe space for students and employees, the following precautions and safe guards have been implemented:

  • Masks are required at all MATC campuses, including all MATC Libraries.
  • The libraries are operating at reduced seating capacity.
  • We welcome walk-in visitors, but we ask that you reserve a seat if you want to study in the Library. This can be done ahead of time or with the help of a Library staff member when you arrive.
  • If you are just coming to pick up an item, we encourage you to request/hold the item online first, so that we have it ready for you when you arrive.
  • We are cleaning and sanitizing all items that are touched.
  • Please return items in hallway book slots or outside book drop boxes.
  • Please, no food or beverages at this time
  • Please allow for the possibility of longer wait times due to limited services and staffing.
