Activating Your Blackboard Account: Home

Explanation and instructions for activating your MATC Blackboard Account.

Do I Need To Activate My Account?

Any new student that applies or registers after January 1, 2013 (for the first time), must Activate their Network account before they can login to any MATC computer systems.

How Do I Activate My Account?

  1. Go to the Activate MATC User ID page on the MATC website.
  2. Insert your Student ID number, last name, and date of birth.
  3. Click "Activate"


     
  4. Then accept the MATC Usage Agreement. Make sure you click the Accept button only once. The screen may look like it isn't doing anything, but it really is. Clicking multiple times will create an error.
  5. You will then be prompted to reset your password. Once you reset your password, continue to set up two challenge questions.  (These challenge questions will help you reset your password if you forget it.)
  6. Make sure that you continue through the entire process before exiting.
